JLS Railroad P4 Signal Installation
P4 Signal Installation
The following addition was planned and carried out by Joe Barcia
and Skip Densing. The small addition of a 2 arm semaphore signal
will actively protect the 30 degrees crossing where the P4 Passing
Siding crosses the 3rd Line. The signal is wired into the P4 turnout.
When the turnout is switched, the signal will read stop, allowing
cross traffic from the Main Line to traverse the 3rd Line's 30
degree crossing without accident. When the switch is normaled,
the signal will read proceed, allowing normal operations to continue.
