Now solid, but still hot enough to roast hot dogs, the steel is stripped of its molds. The the tongs-and-ram assembly is scratchbuilt; the crane is a kitbashed Vollmer container crane. The building in the background, a heavily modified Walthers Rolling Mill (of The WorksTM subscription series) houses the still-unfinished soaking pits.
