This angled view shows where the bottom was cut away to make the body fit properly upon the cast house roof. I chose this approach because my Walthers cast house was already assembled, I did not want to risk trying to detach the roof and possibly damage it. The bustle pipe and tuyeres are barely even visible anyhow, I just won't point these out to visitors. |
