IRF Layouts

Three of the four model railroad clubs that sponsor International Railfair,
Sacramento Modular Railroaders, Roseville Roundhouse Model Railroad Club, and
European Train Enthusiasts, will have their large model railroads on display and operating at this year’s show!  The fourth sponsoring club, National Model Railroad Association - Sierra Division, will display exhibits related to model railroading, NMRA standards, and information about the NMRA.

We also invite other clubs from this region to set up and operate their outstanding layouts so there will be model railroads at the show that represent the different model railroad scales.  You and your family will have an opportunity to observe these different sized operating model railroads.

This is an early list of the layouts that will be on display this year at International Railfair.  The list will be updated during the year as we confirm the participation of more model railroad club layouts.

Sacramento Modular Railroaders (SMR)
SMR will be operating its large HO Scale Sacramento Central Railroad modular
model railroad inside the Armory building.

Roseville Roundhouse Model Railroad Club (RRMRC)
RRMRC will operate both its large HO Scale modular model railroad and its large N Scale modular model railroad inside Jones Hall.

European Train Enthusiasts (ETE)
ETE members will operate HO Scale and N Scale modular model railroads inside
Laupe Hall.  This group specializes in European trains and scenery.
