Donaghmore, parish, Barretts and East Muskerry baronies, Mid county Cork, Ireland, 13 miles NW of Cork ; acreage 3,397 ; soil various, overlying carboniferous limestone, and sandstone. The parish church, a very old building, was repaired 1792. Petty sessions are held, and there are a couple of annual fairs. An abbey is said to have been founded here at a very ealy period. Population: 3,045. |
