The modelled portion of the layout began at WX Tower in Welland, where the New York Central's Canada Southern line crosses the CNR Welland Sub. TH&B trains used parent New York Central's track beyond Welland to reach Buffalo. After crossing the third Welland Canal on Bridge 15, the TH&B enters its own trackage to Hamilton via Smithville.
