In 1969 Keith Ardinger arrived in Hines to find the newly arrived O&NW #4 sitting in front of the shop building, still wearing full McCloud River paint. The railroad's shop crew gave him some stencils and paint, and Keith painted lettering on the #4 before taking this picture. Used with permission. |
