Condon Kinzua & Southern Railroad
Photos by Jerry Lamper

One bitterly cold day in December 1957 Jerry Lamper made his way into Kinzua to see what he could find. These photos were taken on that day.

A shot of the water tower.

The water tank from Shay #1 mounted on a stand and in use as a fuel or sand tower.

The front of the enginehouse, where diesel #104 was resting. No train operations were seen during this visit.

Dumping logs from trucks into the log pond.

An old CK&S snowplow sitting between two buildings in the mill compex.

Another shot of the CK&S snowplow.
