According to a few sources Brooks-Scanlon at least in the later years used the #3 as little as possible due to its slow speed, so action shots of it are rare. The company offered the locomotive to the City of Bend for display, but the city declined due to the size of the machine and settled for a pair of big wheels instead. Jerry Lamper collection. |
