This Athearn "dummy" U-boat is the first locomotive I've painted with more 
than one color.  While I think I did a pretty good job 4 years ago when I was 
just starting out...  I believe I can do a much better job now!  I'm thinking that this 
loco will become well weathered, beaten and battered, and will most likely end up 
being used as spare parts for any other GE locomotives in the HILX line-up.
It's either that or start over again... and who really wants to do that?  
I'd rather make believe that this was the very first locomotive purchased,
with the very first attempt at a paint scheme for HILX service.

At present, I'm thinking... like CSX, that I'd like to try a different paint scheme 
that is a little more simple and direct.  I don't really know... I'm just using
my imagination and letting it take me, and the models where-ever it will!
