General Motors built a total of 109 T6H-5307Ns (Transit bus, 6 cylinder engine, Hydraulic transmission, 53 passenger, model #07, Not air-conditioned) for the HSR in 5 batches between 1973 and 1978.

HSR #7718-7727 were rebuilt between 1985 and 1990 to run on compressed natural gas (CNG), the first such buses in North America. These buses were identifiable by a small label on the front and the driver's side 'POWERED BY NATURAL GAS'.
The last of these buses were retired in 1999. These buses were special to me, as the first HSR bus I ever rode in March of 1998 was one of these. Unfortunately, they were all retired before I started photographing buses. HSR #931 was stored at the back of the Mountain Transit Centre for many years before being hauled away for scrapping in 2014
