"20350 GYRALITE"
Light unit consists of: a fixed light source 22, a reflector 13a, a motor 15a.
Bowl shaped reflector 13a having angularly displaced axis of rotation relative to the optic axis of rotation.
A colored glass globe 14 is used for the red screen
A solid shaft 33 within a hollow shaft 26 enables the colored glass globe to be advanced forward towards the lamp
through a circular hole in the reflector 13a upon a clockwise rotation (relative to the view from the locomotive cab) of the
motor. The effect of this is to produce a colored(red) beam of light. A counterclockwise rotation retracts the screen producing the clear(white) beam.
