COLE, Jr., Charles Andrew

Charles Andrew Cole, Jr., 93, of Marietta Ga. died Saturday August 12, 2023.

Survivors include his son Thomas A. Cole and his wife Gena of Kennesaw, Ga.; his daughter Susan Cole Dezenski and her husband Jeff of Kennesaw Ga., eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. Cole was a retired attorney whose office was in Smyrna Ga. He survived two wives, Patricia Cole who died in 2010 and Elizabeth who died in 2021.

Mr. Cole was active in woodworking, politics, model railroading, the SCV and other community activities. He enjoyed watching football, live theater and movies.

He received a Chemical Engineering Degree from N.C. State and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Va. Mr. Cole began his working career with his father as an Ice Man. He was pleasant and had a great sense of humor. He had a great love for his family and his family was blessed to have the honor to love him.

Visitation will be at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel on Thursday August 17, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held later in Virginia.
