USAX 6000 still at Fort Lewis in March 2009, out of service at the Railhead Stryker loading facility. Was told that the unit will be shipped to Hill AFB outside of Ogden, UT for rebuilding. Though he wasn't sure, the person there thought that it might be rebuilt as a genset locomotive. |
