The main yard is fully 4' wide and only about 18"
high. This makes it difficult for the Chief Engineer to pack his
6'4" frame into the yard to do close work. My #1 son, Richard, was
drafted to wire turnouts. This picture was taken several years ago
so that now he won't fit any better that I do.
