UP's order for 80 RP20BD models and 18 RP20BH locomotives is funded by TERP. The units are to be depoloyed in San Antonio (9 units), Houston (43 units) and Fort Worth (46 units). UPY 2685-2688 were spotted at CAD in early May 2007. From photo evidence from several sources. They are the first of 15 units to be built at CAD (presumed to be UPY 2685 to UPY 2699). From Railpower annual report 2006. |

Previous unit numbers supplied by Railpower with histories compiled from Don Strack's Modern Era UP Roster. SP 5101 was to be renumbered UP 186 as part of the merger fleet renumbering, but was retired in Aug. 2007 prior to being renumbered. |
