From various sources, the 5400 has demonstrated on CSX and other eastern railroads in 2007. It was reported in late Nov. 2007 in Florida. Demonstrated in Texas in late 2007 and early 2008, first on the Orange Port Terminal Railroad, Orange, TX (Dec. 2007), then KCS, Beaumont, TX (Jan. 2008). 2008 demo stops include: Modesto & Empire Traction, Modesto, CA (Feb. 2008); Richmond Pacific, Richmond, CA (March 2008); Central California Traction, Stockton, CA (March-April 2008); San Joaquin Valley RR, Fresno, CA (April 2008); Tacoma Rail, Tacoma, WA (July 2008); Portland & Western, Albany, OR (Aug. 2008); Southern Ry. of BC, New Westminster, BC (Aug.-Sept. 2008); Terminal Railway Association, St. Louis, MO (Oct. 2008); Indiana Harbor Belt, Hammond, IN (Nov. 2008). |
