Originally one of five Green Goat demonstrators built in 2004 and 2005 and demonstrated all over the country. As RPRX 2404, this unit was built to Gen. I standards, and was retired in the summer of 2008 and sent to TMS in Altoona, PA for conversion to an RP20BD genset. |

Sent to CAD for upgrades in August 2007, then moved to TMS in Altoona, PA in July 2008. According to Railpower, this unit will be rebuilt by TMS into an RP20BD genset. |

When the 2404 emerged from TMS, it had been converted to an RP20BD genset as expected, and set up for sale to Modesto & Empire Traction. Their order for two RP20BD's was first announced in a press release on Oct. 16, 2008. |

Build date from the Modesto & Empire Traction's website, and reflects the remanufacture date for the unit when converted from hybrid to genset. Serial number is not yet verified. |
