Notes:
A. CP 1700 was the first of a 35-unit order by Canadian Pacific. CP 1700-1706 were to be constructed in 2005 for testing. From CP Railway press release 3-14-2005. Delivered in Jan. 2006. Contract terminated in late 2006. From Railpower prese release. By that time, CP 1700 had already been leased to Amtrak and was on its way to Los Angeles.
B. Originally built as CP 1700 for Canadian Pacific, leased (sold?) to Amtrak at the termination of the CP contract. After Amtrak lease expired, the unit was returned to Railpower, becoming RPRX 2406.
