From a citation on the NETransit roster page, for MBTA http://members.aol.com/rtspcc/roster/MBTAroster.htmthat said that the board put out a bid for two genset switchers, due to close on Jan. 30, 2008, and a further note that the MBTA board approved the purchase of two units from NRE at a contract rate of $3.3Million. This unit first spotted at NRE Paducah in mid-January. Departed in early March and was sent to Mass. on CSX via Cleveland. |
