Unit first seen at NRE Mt Vernon, IL in early Jan. 2009. Reported awaiting pickup by UP. According to NRE's specs, it uses a single Cummins QSK-19 genset, for a 700hp rating. |

Reported by Mark Mautner that the unit is headed Cairo, IL. Bunge is also getting units for Island Park, IA (8001); Danville, IL (8002); and Morristown, IN (8004). This info is confirmed by a press release from Bunge. |

Build date and frame number from a plate check by Joe Ferguson. Previous unit info extrapolated by countring frame numbers up from recorded frame number of -14 on listings in the Unofficial EMD Homepage. That led to B&O 9537, which was photographed at NRE Mt. Vernon in Feb. 2006 by Jim Tiroch. As a disclaimer, NRE has in the past stamped frame numbers from units in its inventory on other frames used in orders, as in the case of FWWR 2013 and 2014, so this should not be considered absolute verification. |
