Rodhurst
The Rodhurst narrow gauge railway is a two line system, on which passenger trains run from Dannyville station on the main line to Lower Hartnett, a lakeside holiday destination.
In addition to these passenger services, a mineral freight service also operates from Richards Siding to a loading facility at Dannyville where the minerals are off-loaded into hoppers for distribution around the main line stations.
The main industries here are:
A passenger train climbs the hill from Lower Hartnett towards Richards Siding. |
Holiday makers disembark the narrow gauge railway at Lower Hartnett for a day at the lake. |
