CP 5932 paint dataI received a e-mail from Franco Fabrizi on Dec..25/02 telling me that my web page had an error and that 5932 still has a multimark (A8M), whereas my site has it listed a no-multi unit (A8NM). My data came from a photo I took 1997-09-30 of 5932 leading a train at Irvine, AB and it clearly does not have a multimark in the photo, so I wrote back asking for some photo verification which is supposed to be forthcoming. However I saw 5932 at Coakley on 2002-12-06 and I also noted it to have a multimark!  In a post to the C-P-R group 2000-02-09 Luc Lanthier noted 5932 at Ogden with fire damage to the hood. It appears that 5932 was repaired using the hood from another unit, and that hood has a multimark on it. Being as it was not repainted, it is very likely that one should be able to make out another number under the paint on the rear of this unit. If any of you running trades guys happen across 5932, please get up close and personal with the rear of the long hood and see what you can see.
