  The Coal Mine at Work Piling up coal at the mine with a dozer is done after blasting but they aren't blasting very often.
Most folks are glad because that makes lots of black dust. When the wind is right, it's pretty bad at the drive-in show next door...
Both strip mining and shaft mining are done but some times they run into a little snag on strip mining. Sometimes they find things, other than coal, like bones......!!Back to home page.... |
