  Shadyrest HotelLast, but not least, down the hill from the golf course is the Shadyrest Hotel. Been there for years and Cheryl does a good job of putting up travelers coming to visit the park. There is a passenger train that stops at the Park station once a day.
One word of warning, stay out of the pond . Talk is, Cheryl feeds a huge aligator and, sometimes, people check out, but never make the train! Not one to start rumors but, while some say, "Big Foot" got her old man, I think he just pissed the old lady off. Gator bait....Back to home page.
