  Town Train stationThe train station and memorial gardens are across from the courthouse & drug store. The trolleys stop at least 4 times a day to haul passengers to Metropolis to work & back. Not much work here in town now that UAW is on strike at the International Harvester Foundry. With that many guys out of work they have to go out of town to earn some money. !!Back to home page... |
