  TrackFirst I painted the lower level dirt brown and the upper level grass green for a base color.
Then I laid all track and switches on the lower level.
When every loop could run a train with 3 cars forward and backwards with out derailing, I added the top level. Connecting the inclines were the most time consuming part but it pays to be right before you screw it down. When the top loops all ran well, I started landscaping. First I filled the spaces between levels with blue insulating foam and shaped that to resemble rock faces. I built timber tunnel supports on each end where 3 or 4 trains pass close together.!!Back to home page... |
