This picture was taken about 10 km out from Asmara toward
Massawa. Notice the highway (the white line) in the background.
Below the highway and running parallel is the railway. The large
cut to the left is a tunnel portal. Hard to see is a red-orange tiled
building. This is the station at Arboroba. Further to the right
and still hard to see is another viaduct. The line had plenty of
tunnels and bridges.
A little less than a kilometer to the photographer's

Cover Picture was taken.
