SPERRY RAIL SERVICE 132 - 'Jimmy Langdon'

This telephoto shot of SRS 132 conceals the fact that it is a full two feet longer in length than SRS 130. Built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1925, its original Winton 106A 220hp engine was later replaced by a Caterpillar prime mover. The car, acquired by Sperry in January 1942, is ex Seaboard Air Line 2003.

132 is 59' 7" in length, 13' high and 10' 4" wide weighing 142,000 lbs.
