Galt, Preston & Hespeler Street Railway 21 proceeds east along King Street in downtown Preston, between Wellington (now Westminster Drive) and Argyle Streets. August 27, 1939 saw the last passenger car traverse this trackage when all passenger service was moved over to the double tracked freight line through Preston. All of the buildings in this picture exist today, although the store fronts have changed somewhat over the years.
