CORNWALL STREET RAILWAY, LIGHT & POWER CO. FREIGHT MOTOR SECOND 11 |
In October 1920, Baldwin-Westinghouse delivered serial 53785 as Youngstown & Ohio River Railroad 7. In 1933, it was sold to the Omaha, Lincoln & Beatrice Railroad and renumbered 2. It worked there until it was sold to Cornwall in 1950 to replace 11 (first) which was scrapped that same year, and became CSRL&P 11 (second). The locomotive is seen here at the CSRL&P shop. Second 11 was retired in 1971 when the CSRL&P ceased electric operations. The locomotive was sold to the Ohio Railway Museum, Worthington, OH, in 1972 where it has been restored as Y&OR 7. |
