THE PRESTON CAR & COACH PLANT

This view of Preston Car & Coach looking west is believed to have been taken c.1914-1918. The track in the foreground is that of the Grand River Railway freight line. Passenger service travelled along King Street through Preston. Freight trains travelling to the left would be headed for Galt while those travelling to the right would be headed for Preston Junction, Kitchener or Hespeler.
