797 is seen here at the Preston Junction Station on May 10, 1950.
By this time, steel sheathing had been applied to the sides of the car below the windows.

On October 23, 1955, 797 was donated to the Syracuse Chapter, National Railway Historical Society for display at its Rail City Museum in Sandy Pond, NY. After sitting for a number of years, it was moved to the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME where the car again sat until July 28, 1999 when it was trucked to the Halton County Radial Railway Museum in Milton, Ontario, Canada, arriving there the following day. The only surviving example of a Canadian Pacific Electric Lines interurban car is now within 14 miles of where it once operated. Plans are to restore the car to operating condition.
