Cornwall Street Railway 14 was acquired in 1956 from the Springfield Terminal Railroad where it was numbered 20. Cornwall also purchased STR's only other electric freight motor, #15 at the same time. That one became CSR #7 (2).
CSR 14 was built by Baldwin and delivered in January 1929 to Springfield Terminal. It is a Class B-1 motor and is now in the Illinois Railway Museum collection at Union, IL.
