1511 Heading for the Barn

In this photo, No. 1511 is running east on San Antonio Street towards the carbarn on Cotton Street. 1511 was always the flagship of the fleet, the car that received special decoration and graphics, some by the noted artist, Jose Cisneros. This stretch of street trackage still exists and the streetcar society hopes to preserve it as a part of an operating museum.
