Passenger Cars

The passenger trains seen on the DV&W are small consists of both the Santa Fe and Union Pacific. Though mainly for the workers on the route, they are equipped with diners and fairly deluxe accomodations due to contract agreements with the Deere Valley & Western Railroad authorities.
The Santa Fe consist is a Model Power set and a Bachmann full dome. The cars have been detailed inside and some detailing outside. They are all lighted. The observation car has red led's and fiber optics for the rear markers and taillight. The "drumhead" is an Athearn F7 headlight lens with a Woodland Scenics dry transfer decal and light bulb behind. All of the Model Power cars have been converted to close coupling and body mounted couplers.
The Union Pacific consist is a Rivarossi/Walthers set with working diaphrams, etc. These have had the interiors detailed and lighting installed also. Some very minor detailing on the exteriors.
