Parkdale was seated at the west end of the Grand Canon of The Arkansas. The Panoramic made an additional stop here
for Denver passengers traveling to see the famed Royal Gorge, down the Canon only 6 miles, who could disembark at
Parkdale to wait on the Colorado - New Mexico Express for a return trip back to Denver.

Early photos show the 50,000 gallon water tank set back from the tracks, probably had a water column.
Parkdale was on a straight track with a siding, but we had to wrap this around a curve due to
physical layout limitations
