I have been interested in trains for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Eastern Kentucky
watching Family Lines railroad serve a couple mines that was close to our house. I still
remember seeing some of the old Geeps paint in L&N still running around. I know about model
trains but really wasn't until I got Model Railroad Nov. 1992 that I was really exposed to
modeling. I got my first Bachmann trainset for Christmas that year (The Golden Spike). 20
years later I'm still modeling and on my 3rd layout. My 1st layout was a 4' x 8' in my
parents basement. The 2nd layout was 22' x 16' still in my parents basement. My 3rd layout
is housed in a 16 x 16 feet room that was built just for the layout.
I work as a conductor for CSX Transportation I have worked out of Hazard,KY on the Rockhouse

support and understanding and her patience she has when it come to my railroad.
