The above photos did not appear in The Eagle.
I wrote an article for The Eagle which appeared in the Winter 1988 (mis labeled Winter 1989), Vol. 13 No. 4 issue on modeling the MP GP38-2 #2084 using the then new Athearn model as the starting point. This was before color was appearing in The Eagle so all the photos were in Black & White. With the advent of digital cameras and the internet, I now have the oppurtunity to show this model in a different light, one I hope viewers will enjoy.

The images were shot with a Camedia E20N on a tripod under natural light. The model sits on a piece of high density foam board (blue board) which still has the plastic on it. That gives the slight reflection to the image.
