To the Doniphan Branch Railway

After some confusion, it is now for certain that the 13555 sits in Borsch Memorial Park in the old town of Valmeyer.   Having gone through a bad flood a few years back, the old town of Valmeyer was moved onto the bluff to the east.   MP 13555 went through the same flood and is still there.   Other than most of the windows being gone, the caboose is in pretty good shape.   After the flood, it was cleaned inside.   It still has most of the original interior.   If it were moved to higher ground, had the windows put in and one door secured, this caboose could be an asset to this community for years to come.
