To the Doniphan Branch Railway

In service as one of two "Birthday Cabooses" in Scottsdale, Arizona is this former Missouri Pacific/International-Great Northern caboose.
Originally numbered to the 13028, it was renumbered to local service as the 12283 instead of 12028 as it should have been and retired with that number.   The early renumberings were a little haphazard as explained in
Cabooses of the Missouri Pacific Lines.
