Text Box: The DAYLINES Text Box: Welcome to the Daylines, my HO scale tribute to the East St. Louis & Suburban Railway and the St. Louis & Belleville Electric Railway. The layout depicts the system as it might have been, while still attempting to be as accurate as reasonably possible. Although I am modeling a piece of history, I envision it as a thriving enterprise. Therefore, I model the system as it might have adapted to survive a little longer. Given the recent development of MetroLink in the bi-state area, however, perhaps a little foresight during the Great Depression would have saved the governments a bit of our money.
