Perhaps my all time favorite railroad photograph
would have to be this image captured by Donald Duke back in the early 1950's.
Pictured here is the Southern Pacific Coast Mail (#72) as it heads
South to L.A. GS-4 #4457 blasts its airhorn as it nears Orcott Road, just
south of town. This image captures what the coast line was all about...Scenic
countryside, fast Daylights, and of course...Wigwag signals! For
