Gold Ray Dam, 1993
Gold Ray Dam, Oregon

Larry writes...

"It was taken in April of 1993.  At that time the south end of the Siskiyou Line was embargoed and all freight was going north out of the Rogue Valley.  The train pictured is the MEEUM (MEdford EUgene Manifest) which ran daily.  IIRCC it often had 40 to 60 cars.  Tunnel motors and Kodachromes were common in the Valley at that time.  But having three TM's on the same train like that was noteworthy.  I was standing on the pullout on Upper River Road by Gold Ray Dam."
