Info on the photo is as follows: 4449 was returning
from Southern California after filming the movie TOUGH GUYS. 5 unit helper
was cutoff at Oakridge and the dispatcher held 4449 there and let Amtrak
Coast Starlight #14 pass them there. 4449 then left Oakridge and came thru
tunnel #22 using her air horn for the grade crossing that is just west
(actual direction) of the tunnel coming down the hill into Westfir. Kept
using the air horn till going over the crossing. Photo taken April 16,
1986 at 11:30 AM.
