| Daniel Dawdy from Bolingbrook, IL sends us a
picture of his recent purchase. He writes:
"It's a Western Railroad Supply and was used on the Chicago Great Western
in Des Moines, IA. There were two of these at the auction. The first went
for $1625 as myself and one other bidder were trying for them. I
stopped at $1600 and the other guy won but only took one of them. The bidding
re-started and I ended up winning the second one at $825!!! Both were in
very good condition. I attached an image of this with my wife Amy holding
up the top. This will go into storage till next summer when we will repaint
and display in the yard. |
