The Nevada State RR Museum is located at the south end of Carson City
Nevada on highway 395. The two wigwags were donated by the Southern Pacific
RR and are operational when a museum train passes. the museum itself has
a number of original restored Virginia and Truckee RR steam locomotives
as well as V&T
coaches and rolling stock. Also many other V&T coaches and rolling
stock waiting to be restored. The museum is open every day year round and
has steam ups several times a year. |
