There are 3 wigwags in Plymouth. One is located at
Elizabeth St.
The other signal at this crossing is a highway flasher. Neither
signal has a bell.

Brent explains why there are 2 types of signals and
2 mile post #'s...
"The wigwags are about 1 block north of the
HWY 67 RR overpass. An abandoned UP (ex-CNW) line runs parallel to a Wisconsin
Central (ex Milwaukee Road) line. Each crossing has 2 signal control boxes
and 2 different mile posts.
The Milwaukee Road replaced the wigwags on their side
of the tracks with flashers, the wigwags are on the southwest sides of the
crossings by the UP line."

Standing on the now abandoned UP line, old Milwaukee
line to the left. Two WRRS wigwags can be seen to the right. This is the intersection
of Main and Milwaukee Sts. Wisconsin Southern now operates the old Milw.
line.
The highway flasher can be seen across the tracks to
the left. There is a second wigwag behind this one protecting a different
direction of traffic.
