Hot Cars !!
These riders look hot and tired! They're sweating

The Council has received a number of
complaints again this summer about poor or broken air conditioning on
Metro-North.
We have addressed this issue with the
railroad and have been told that, since June, 90 - 95% of all cars have HVAC in
working order. The many complaints we’ve
received in recent months make us skeptical of those figures.
We would like your help in tracking this
problem. If you are on a Metro-North train and feel that the AC is not working
properly, please...
1.
Ask the conductor to report the problem to
Maintenance, in writing.
2.
Please call the MTA complaint office at 212-672-1290,
or…
3.
Please also call in a report to 1-800-RAIL-HOT, or…
4. Follow this

5. Please copy the Council on your complaint by e-mail.
Each report should contain the following:
You can also submit a written complaint
with the above information. Address it to:
Hot
MTA Metro-North
Railroad
If you complain in writing, please keep a
copy of your complaint and always ask for a written response.
With your help we can show the railroad
that this is a serious problem requiring their attention. Please watch this
site for updates on the "Project Hot Cars".
