George's American Flyer collection finds a home on the shelves of the train room.

George operates a variety of equipment including electric, steam and diesel from the steam era through the present day. Two loops are dedicated to AC powered equipment. One loop runs DC. Conventional AF transformers are used.

This photo shows the interior of an American Flyer Smoke-In-Tender (SIT) unit. Note the bellows which George replaced using umbrella cloth. George modified one locomotive so that an SIT tender was combined with a smoke in boiler locomotive. The reverse unit (E unit) was placed in a passenger car that trailed behind the tender.
